Houdini action

After a few days of escapes (see previous post) I found out how they did it. I CAUGHT SPECK breaking out. He had figured out how to stick his paw through the crate and bat at the latch enough times that he jiggled it loose.

I then used a stretchy sock to secure it. He then figured out how to push on the door and stretch the sock enough to be able to slip out the door. (Dot, however, was too pudgy to get out, so she remained in solitary.)

Now I'm using a carabiner. Which is chewed up from Speck's teeth marks... not ideal but it works. Next I'm going to try a velcro strap.

I'm overdue to post some pictures, but here's a preview of the little guys at Halloween (wicked witch + her flying monkey), plus a few more.
